Capital Region ESD 113 has selected Josh Maerzke as the Program Director for Olympic Academy.
 
Mr. Maerzke is a National Board-Certified teacher and board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA). His previous experience includes teaching students with autism as well as those with emotional and behavioral disabilities. He is also a US Army Veteran.
 
Maerzke is excited to begin his duties at Olympic Academy. I believe that everyone deserves a place where they feel that they belong and an educational experience where they are afforded the opportunity to be successful,” he said. I am excited and humbled by the work happening in ESD113 and at Olympic Academy.  I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to lead this program in providing outstanding support for students with emotional and behavioral challenges.”

Maerzke began his role on July 1, 2022.
