Summit at Olympic Academy

Summit at Olympic Academy is a highly specialized public day-treatment program for students in special education with complex needs offered by ESD113. All students receive a combination of individualized and small group instruction that teaches skills in the areas of communication, social, emotional, academics, self-care, safety, and adaptive behavioral skills. 

Teachers utilize a data-based approach to learning that drives instruction in each student’s individualized goal areas. All classrooms have a high staff-to-student ratio, with one Washington State Certified Special Education Teacher overseeing each classroom. Students are supported by Registered Behavior Technicians who are supervised by an on-site Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

At Summit, students also receive services from our on-site psychologist, speech language pathologist, occupational therapist, physical therapist, and audiologist.
